Leffert, who is the father of Heinse 354, is a very famous stallion who became ‘preferent’ in 2005. Not only is he famous for his progeny, he also became ywo times champion on the stallion show (1992, 1993), competed in Z dressage, stallion carousel, and Friesian Sjees in which discipline he became reserve champion for stallions.
Leffert’s progeny are a uniform group which resemble the racial type Friesian and have beautiful expression and charisma. Their heads tend to be a little too long, but they have a beautiful front. The movement in the legs is good, but some could have more quality in the hind legs. Their trot is good, with beautiful use of front legs. His progeny are also doing particularly well in harness and dressage. Three stallions participated in the honorary class of harness, coming 1st, 2nd and 3rd in one competition. The same three were champions in separate competitions as well. In dressage seven of his sons competed in the Z1, including Heinse 354, Some of his progeny are competing at Medium/advance levels.
